The notebook pages (most of which are handwritten) are not numbered, but have been indexed by Eberhardt's son, Edward Eberhard, numerically according to their first lines (plus second lines in some cases). Accompanying materials include: an Eberhardt family tree (with note dated 2008), photocopies of two articles about Ernest G. Eberhardt, a photocopy of a letter from Eli Lilly to Ernest G. Eberhardt (dated Mar. 18, 1952), and a photocopy of Edward Eberhardt's inventory of the collection (including notes on his father's career).
